MISSION STATEMENT::-
To
uphold the message and practice of Christianity in the fields
of Medicine and Dentistry.

OBJECTIVES
-
To point all men to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus
Christ and the constant deepening of fellowhip with Him.
- To
encourage Christian doctors, dentists, and students to actively
participate in the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- To
provide for regular exchange of views and information on the growth
of medicine and dentistry especially where these bear upon Christian
faith and/ or ethics.
- To
foster the maintenance of a high standard of medical and dental
care in the hospitals and community.
- To
endeavour to establish and maintain by exemplary conduct the highest
standard of scrupulousness, conscentiousness and integrity in
medical and dental practice.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership
is open to all Christian doctors, dentists and the students in these
fields.

Full membership status:

For qualified professionals
only. |
|
Associate membership status: |
For all Christian
students of medicine and dentistry, and the family (spouses and
children) of full and associate members. |
|
To
be a member a membership fee of UShs.
10,000 is paid once together with an annual subscription
fee as below: |

AFFILIATION
UCMF is
part of the International Christian Medical and Dental Association
which unites all CMFs worldwide.
It is affiliated to Fellowship of Christian
Unions (FOCUS). It also collaborates with other national Christian
organisations like the Uganda Hospital Christian Fellowship (UHCF)
and Uganda
Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB). |
